You might have to try connecting a couple times before it works. If you stop VBA or Dolphin, the other emulator will freeze. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE YOUR GAME(S) BEFORE TURNING EITHER OF THEM OFF. When the emulators are started, if VBA link is set to gamecube, the emulators are communicating. This has been recommended in most of the forum threads I looked up. ![]() Make sure the link in VBA is set to gamecube specifically.ĭuring the gameboy logo while the bios are loading up (when the gamecube is ready for the connection), import your battery save file for the gamepak you are using. Make sure to go to the directories menu and tell VBA where the bios file is, as well as making sure the emulator doesnt skip the bios. Most games (except pokemon I guess) initiate the connection from the BIOS as opposed to the game. ![]() ![]() You gotta have a GBA BIOS file dumped from a real game boy advance. Remember to set the second controller port in dolphin to GBA. I've briefly been able to make wind waker and pokemon xd work. The emulated GBA thing is super unstable, and even doing everything right might not be enough to make it work. ![]()
